Ultraviolet Disinfection
by
Enaqua, Inc.
Vista, CA
.
For more than 20 years Enaqua has been providing Non-Contact UV
Systems for
disinfection of drinking water, process water, and wastewater
throughout the world. Based in Vista, California, Enaqua
manufactures non-contact UV systems which separate the lamp from the
liquid. By moving the lamps out of the water, we eliminate
quartz sleeves, mechanical wipers, acid cleaning, flap gates and weirs,
lifting cranes, underwater electrical connections, nuisance GFI trips,
and the dependency on being submerged for cooling.
Non-Contact UV is the only method
of disinfection that allows:
- Dry removal of the lamps
- Complete and uniform disinfection
- 100% algae free operation
- True plug flow characteristics
- In channel or inline (pressurized) systems
- Enaqua systems are available in both channel mounted
configurations and inline designs.
- Ballasts that shut down when sensing a failed or missing lamp
- Less than one minute per lamp change
No underwater lamp connections.

Enaqua systems use low pressure, high output lamps that are
economical and provide the most UV energy per dollar for you or your
client.
A separate cooling system maintains the lamps at their most efficient
operating temperature to give you optimal UV output.
